- I’m always going on about people who Google “recipes” to get rid of stains – and failing.
- But what about those people that buy name brand stuff at the supermarket, thinking it’s being sold there, so must be OK?
- Just because it’s available at a “trusted” retailer, doesn’t make it safe. In fact, most supermarket/Bunnings/Market stall stuff etc is pure, marketing rubbish.
- Mostly they create more problems than not, like one I had yesterday. Brand new, she dropped a coffee, and the dog dropped a… well I’ll let you guess!
- She used a name brand product – but all that happened was an utter mess. The stains were mostly dealt with, but the detergent residues were shocking!
- A quick stain removal and a damned heavy flushing later, and it was all sorted, much to her relief!
- Moral of the story: don’t buy products that can adversely affect your carpets – call a pro for advice or to deal with it!
