- This week we had an unusual request to fix an issue with dye from a leather strap having transferred onto a viscose blend bedhead – nothing nefarious, just a leather handle that had rubbed against the fabric.
- Definitely something new, but once again, challenge accepted! The client was not hopeful, thinking it would never come out but the manufacturer had recommended us, so she gave us a try. Failing that, it was replacement territory.
- However, the job turned out to be fairly straightforward with a bit of lateral thinking, and I had the job done within 30 mins, much to her amazement!
- As it turned out, she had used us once before after being recommended by another furniture retailer to sort out an emergency accident for her involving a Staffy on chemo! So now she is doubly impressed
