- Yesterday, we were asked by a Property Manager to deodorise 1 bedroom carpet in a house. These carpets had already been “professionally cleaned”.
- No problem we said, we can sort that out and in we went. But… upon inspection, the carpets were still quite soiled throughout, with a general doggy smell to go with it.
- After a phone call with the PM, we explained our findings, which she understood ad appreciated, but given she had just inherited this property from another PM and had no budget to work with, she was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
- So, what we decided to do was to compromise and use a system that will give a reasonable amount of deodorising capacity, but at a cheaper rate than a full deodorising.
- In the end, the carpets looked far cleaner, smelled much better and were ready for the new tenant to move in the next day!
