- This week we had the classic “we’ve got ourselves into a bit of bother” phone call.
- Seems a regular client had decided on taking in a fairly large rescue dog after their cat passed away.
- Beautiful dog, lovely nature (and just loooves pats!), but also a bit of a nervous disposition, which lead to a couple of largish accidents on the near-new bedroom carpet.
- Of course it’s panic stations and start finding all manner of stuff to put onto it… and simply worsen it. Scrub for all they’re worth and also physically damage the fibre, so now they’re stained, slightly bleached and physically damaged!
- So in I go, all guns blazing! I managed to get a very acceptable fix on the colour issues, the carpet just looked a little fuzzy, but still looked 100% better than when I arrived!
